Meet Shaquine, Administrative Support Specialist with 12+ years of experience working in a multi-faceted institution. I possess comprehensive knowledge of business processes and standards in Higher Education as well as in Healthcare facilities. I am proficient in a variety of administrative processes and duties. I work well in high-pressure settings with minimal supervision in both leadership and team roles. My skillset includes being very effective at fielding phone calls, coordinating with clients, advanced computer software knowledge, archiving and record-keeping, and the management of personnel.

In my recent position as an Administrative Specialist Support at the Community College of Philadelphia. I support the Vice President, the division and the work that’s being done across many platforms. My day to day includes providing technical and logistical support, responsible for the coordination of various activities, meetings, conferences, and workshops, document and staff management.

Prior to being employed by the Community College of Philadelphia, I worked for Temple University as an Administrative Coordinator.  During my time at Temple University I ran the day to day operations of the medical office, executing diverse administrative tasks, developed office processes, onboarded new office staff and resolved issues and or complaints.

 

I hold my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Pierce College. During my career I ‘ve learned many transferable skills, such as leadership, which I attribute to leadership academy at Temple University and as well as Peirce College, where I’ve received certificates of completion. The skills I’ve gained from these courses allowed me to become effective in the areas of: relationship building, agility, adaptability, effective communication, which allows me to be better suited for my position.
